[Clueless Lipstick]

3 day silence. Sorry about that.

I’ve been one busy girl. Last week I decided the best idea of how to use my freetime was to take on a freelance job for a couple of days. Bonkers really. So in all honesty, I’ve been to busy to put my clothes in the washing machine, let alone attempt to write a half decent blog.

So here I am, attempting to write a half decent blog… AND that blog today is all about lipstick, in all it’s wonderful forms.

I had a bit of an accident last week. In involved the washing machine and my favourite Clarins lipstick. Reminder to oneself: always check the pockets of your jeans. Gutted is an understatement. What’s even worse (if that’s possible) is that my clothes (and the boyfriends!) all ended up with red lipstick smears all over them. Not ideal.

So now, not only do my clothes have lipstick smear stains all over them, but I’m also without my favourite lippy. I’m on the market for a new goodie, a nice bright red, a little orange-tinge. Something that moisterises my lips and doesn’t bleed everywhere.

Have you seen Clueless? The outfits, the heartbreak, the revolving closer, the snappy one-liners! As Cher says in the movie, “Anything you can do to draw attention to your mouth is good.” And I really can’t think of any better way to do it than with some super hot bright lip colour.
